With over 12 years of leadership in grid engineering across the UK energy sector, Kyle brings unparalleled expertise in complex energy infrastructure. Before joining Roadnight Taylor, he held strategic roles at SSEN Transmission, SSE Thermal, Electricity North West, UK Power Networks, and TNEI Services.

Kyle has engineered, delivered and commissioned complex energy projects valued at around £400 million, most notably leading the successful grid connection of the 893MW Keadby 2 Power Station to electricity and gas transmission networks.

His hydrogen expertise spans the value chain from electrolysis to storage and end-use applications. Kyle has developed grid solutions for Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) initiatives and Hydrogen Allocation Round (HAR) submissions, and sits on a sub-group of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s Hydrogen Delivery Council (HDC). His contributions to the HDC and Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) working groups are supporting the delivery of UK hydrogen projects and wider infrastructure.
