Frank is Hydrogen Business Development Manager for Sheffield-based, Chesterfield Special Cylinders (CSC) and a member of the HEA’s Executive Team.
He facilitates business development, partnerships and innovative projects for CSC which has designed, manufactured and re-certified Type 1 seamless steel cylinders for hydrogen gas storage for more than 80 of its 125 years history. Hydrogen projects include HySaas, a feasibility assessment of a ‘storage as a service’ business model with Innovate UK funding.
Frank has over 30 years’ experience in strategy, project delivery and business development with the past 5 years being focused on hydrogen storage solutions. He has a Metallurgy and Materials Science degree from the University of Cambridge, worked for Cummins Turbo Technologies in Huddersfield and as a consultant for both KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers (Leeds, Manchester and London).
