Ethan is a Mechanical Engineer with experience in engineering design and technical due diligence activities in the hydrogen and energy transition space. He joined Santander Corporate and Investment Bank in 2024, where he applies his technical skills to support the development of the first low carbon hydrogen and derivatives projects around the world, ensuring that they set the right foundations to access non-recourse financing. Prior to joining Santander, Ethan spent three years at the global engineering consultancy firm Arup. At Arup, he was involved in the design of several low carbon hydrogen initiatives, as well as helping shape the UK’s low carbon hydrogen standard and hydrogen allocation rounds as part of the UK Government’s hydrogen technical advisor role, leading complex scopes and developing a relationship with some of the first movers in the green hydrogen space in Europe.
